Duty of care app new from e-Travel Technologies

TORONTO — Travel industry tech specialist e-Travel Technologies has launched a Duty of Care / Failure to Warn app, designed to keep clients informed and assist the trade as travel agents and travel agencies navigate issues of liability risks.

The new app is part of e-Travel Technologies’ ‘Know before you go’ destination information products, including its Travel Advisories, Real-Time Alerts, Travel Tracker and other Duty of Care tools, all for their partners to resell to their corporate clients.

Travellers can stay current with events that may impact their travel plans from the home screen of their smartphone, says e-Travel Technologies CEO and President, Don Churchill.

“The benefit of the virtual app is that it provides the latest Real-Time Alerts relevant to their itinerary, flight status info and country destination information, all with a simple click, with no downloading required,” he adds. “We recognize the need for our partners to offer a solution to corporate and leisure clients that works in today’s environment. Our partners have told us the ease of getting information that addresses their own travel itineraries is what they wanted.”

e-Travel Technologies can integrate into all GDSs via core technologies or direct API connection. “The technology available these days makes connecting with our customers much simpler,” says Karl Higeli, CTO of e-Travel Technologies.
