Vegas Insider Club: Elevating agents into the city’s inner circle  

TORONTO — Canada’s top travel agents are getting a Las Vegas-sized thank you, courtesy of the Vegas Insider Club, a new recognition and rewards initiative launching in summer 2025.

Designed by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), the exclusive, year-long program will honour the top 10 Canadian agents who book the most Las Vegas travel between January and September 2025.

More than just a nod to performance, the Vegas Insider Club delivers a robust suite of rewards: official recognition from the LVCVA, two VIP FAM trips – one in November 2025 and another in May 2026 – monthly Apple Watch giveaways, client rewards, and both airline and Vegas-specific perks.

Members will also receive invitations to unique in-market events across Canada this fall, from Michelin-star culinary experiences to sports and music VIP packages.

The in-market event lineup includes appearances by the Vegas Golden Knights in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal, alongside The Weeknd in Vancouver this July and a Toronto Blue Jays VIP experience later this year.

It’s all part of what the LVCVA calls a “once-in-a-lifetime Vegas experience” designed to show appreciation to Canada’s top-selling agents.

Speaking at a recent event in Toronto on a particularly cold evening in June, Charmaine Singh of Reach Global Marketing emphasized the timing: “It’s not too late to book your summer in Las Vegas, because it is may not be coming to Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Edmonton,” she said, drawing laughs about Canada’s unpredictable weather. “It is pool and spa season in Las Vegas all year round. And we guarantee you great weather.”

The evening event also included destination updates and a sneak preview of the new Formula 1 movie, F1, partially filmed in Las Vegas.

According to Molly Castano, VP, PR and Communications for the LVCVA, the film captures the thrill of Vegas in a way only F1 can. “We’re thrilled to have our Canadian trade partners among the first to experience the star-studded, action-packed F1 movie,” she said. “Las Vegas had the honour of serving as one of the film’s most dynamic backdrops… While nothing compares to experiencing Las Vegas in person, seeing our city light up the big screen comes remarkably close.”

With so much buzz around Las Vegas, it’s no surprise that the city continues to invest in new offerings.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas, which marked its one-year anniversary in December 2024, is already a major draw. Towering 67 storeys with over 3,600 guest rooms, the resort includes 550,000 square feet of event space, a sleek casino, live entertainment at BleauLive Theatre, and the Oasis Pool complex featuring six pools, four bars, and a poolside gaming area.

Meanwhile, Paris Las Vegas has completed a full conversion of the Jubilee Tower into the new Versailles Tower, offering 756 luxury rooms – many with balconies – and a new pedestrian bridge.

Entertainment in Las Vegas continues to push boundaries with Sphere, a 17,500-seat theatre wrapped in the world’s largest LED display. Shows include the Backstreet Boys, Kenny Chesney, the Eagles, and The Wizard of Oz, which ʻdebutsʻ on Aug, 28 with an AI-remastered version of the original 1939 film.

And it’s not just concerts and casinos. The Formula 1 attraction at the race’s stadium venue now includes race-car simulators and behind-the-scenes experiences, while sports lovers can cheer for the Golden Knights, Raiders, Aces, and soon, the Las Vegas A’s baseball team, who are gearing up for their 2028 season in a brand new, climate-controlled stadium.
