Saint Lucia embarks on Canada roadshow with Air Canada

TORONTO — The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) is expanding its reach in the Canadian market with a nationwide roadshow in partnership with Air Canada.

The series of events also celebrates the airline’s 50th anniversary and highlights Saint Lucia’s broad tourism offering.

Running from Sept. 4–22, the roadshow has already visited Halifax on Sept. 5 and Calgary on Sept. 8. Up next will be Edmonton on Sept. 10, Vancouver on Sept. 12, Montreal on Sept. 17, Toronto on Sept. 19 and Windsor on Sept. 22.

Each stop is designed to strengthen ties with travel advisors while showcasing the island’s diverse accommodations, attractions and experiences.

“The Canadian market has consistently shown strong interest, and this roadshow allows us to amplify our presence, strengthen key partnerships, and provide travel advisors with the selling tools to drive sales and increase visitation from Canada, one of our main source markets,” said Louis E. A. Lewis, CEO of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority.

The roadshow puts renewed focus on the award-winning Saint Lucia Expert Program (SLEx), an online training and loyalty platform created for travel advisors. SLEx provides destination knowledge, sales tools and rewards opportunities to help agents better position Saint Lucia with their clients.

Accommodation partners supporting the initiative include Harmony Marina Suites, Windjammer Landing Resort & Residences, Bay Gardens Resorts, Jade Mountain, Anse Chastanet, Secrets St. Lucia, Zoetry Marigot Bay, Sandals Resorts, Serenity at Coconut Bay, Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa, Royalton St. Lucia, Hotel Chocolat, Ladera, Ti Kaye Resort and Sugar Beach – A Viceroy Resort. Together they represent a full range of options from boutique hotels to high-end luxury properties.
