TORONTO —Statistics Canada has released its cross-border travel data for November 2025.
According to StatCan, for the month of November 2025, Canadian-resident return trips by air from the U.S. were down 19.3% year over year.
Canadian-resident return trips from overseas countries continued to trend up, by 11.7% compared to November 2024.
CANADA-TO-USA CAR TRAVEL DROPS 28.6%
Last month’s 19% decline in air travel from Canada to the U.S. is eclipsed by the decline in Canada-to-U.S. automobile traffic.
Canadian-resident return trips by automobile dropped 28.6% in November 2025. It’s the 11th consecutive month of year-over-year declines.
