Destination management company AMpm Canada has a new site

TORONTO — Destination management company AMpm Canada has announced the launch of its official website, ampmcanada.ca.

Company founder Armando Mendonça says the site features easy-to-navigate design and serves as a dynamic platform for information on AMpm Canada’s B2B services.

The DMC specializes in project management solutions for travel organizations looking to promote and elevate their brand in the Canadian marketplace.

Mendonça, who launched his Toronto-based company in 2014, describes himself as a results-driven leader with more than three decades of travel industry experience. He says AMpm Canada brings a personalized touch to representing and promoting domestic and foreign travel organizations in Canada.

“Being at the helm of AMpm Canada, I’m hands-on with every request,” says Mendonça. “Bridging relationships within the travel community is key to a successful marketing campaign. And I’ve built those relationships over 30 years.”

AMpm Canada currently manages special projects for the Vienna Tourist Board in Canada.

One of Mendonça’s debut projects was a high tea event for travel advisors, airlines, tour operators and media in the café of the Toronto Ritz-Carlton hotel, where participants learned about Vienna tourism while sampling teas and Viennese delights.

Another immersive campaign was Mendonça’s ‘Vienna Salon,’ which invited travel professionals into a Toronto mansion for an evening of Viennese inspiration that marked the 150th anniversary of the Ringstrasse.

Most recently, AMpm Canada hosted a VIP industry event for the tourist board on Sept. 14.

“My events, in particular, are about enhancing the experience so partners meet the right people and feel empowered to sell a destination,” said Mendonca.

In addition to event planning, AMpm Canada also develops media strategies, trade seminars and fam trips, and offers video and photography services and client support for travel advisor communities.

DIVERSITY & LGBTQ INITIATIVES

The company’s new site also features a page dedicated to diversity and philanthropic initiatives, a community that is near and dear to Mendonça’s heart.

“This industry is my passion and I look forward to the opportunity to establish new partnerships,” he says.

The site is at www.ampmcanada.ca.
