LOS ANGELES — Viking has released its 2027-2028 World Cruise lineup, highlighted by four extensive itineraries that will take travellers to dozens of countries across six continents.
Among the four epic voyages is the Viking World Cruise, which will span 142 days and cover 31 countries with 62 guided tours and 16 overnight stays. Departing Fort Lauderdale on Dec. 28, 2027 aboard Viking Vesta, the voyage concludes in London on May 18, 2028.
“Our approach has always been different. At Viking, we always focus on the destination,” said Torstein Hagen, Chairman and CEO of Viking. “Our World Cruises are thoughtfully designed to offer the opportunity to experience dozens of fascinating destinations around the world in one seamless voyage – these epic voyages are truly the ultimate in exploration.”
The itinerary features a range of marquee and lesser-known ports. Guests will sail through Central America, transit the Panama Canal, and continue up the West Coast of North America before crossing the Pacific with stops in Hawaii and French Polynesia. The route also includes New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, Africa with safari options, and several iconic cities in Western Europe.
Overnight stays will be offered in destinations including Sydney, Singapore, Zanzibar, Cape Town and Casablanca. Those looking to extend their journey can opt for the 170-day Viking World Voyage III, which adds 21 more ports across Northern Europe and Scandinavia before concluding in Stockholm. Other options include the 153-day Viking World Voyage IV from Los Angeles to Stockholm, visiting 37 countries, and the 125-day Viking World Discoveries, visiting 27 countries before ending in London.
