VANCOUVER — Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas has set sail for Alaska after an unexpected delay kept the ship in Vancouver’s port.
Hours after departing Vancouver this past Sunday, the ship experienced engine trouble and was forced to turn around and head back to port.
Serenade’s cruise finally got underway last night, as the ship pulled away at around 6:30 p.m. PDT, according to reports.
The delay and engine issues come after Serenade experienced technical problems on last week’s Alaska cruise.
