MIAMI — Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NCLH) has confirmed a newbuild order with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri for a third Prestige-Class vessel for its ultra-luxury brand, Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Scheduled for delivery in 2033, the ship represents the company’s continued investment in the high-end cruise segment.
The latest order follows the introduction of the first Prestige-Class ship, Seven Seas Prestige, debuting in 2026, and a second vessel planned for 2030. Together, the three ships will expand Regent’s position within the luxury cruise market, building on the design, service, and all-inclusive experience the brand is known for.
“This newbuild order continues our measured, strategic expansion within the luxury space, providing guests with yet another way to experience the unrivaled aboard The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. “It reflects our confidence in the growing demand for Regent’s best-in-class offering and reaffirms our long-standing partnership with Fincantieri, one rooted in craftsmanship and shared pursuit of perfection.”
The Prestige-Class series marks Regent’s first new ship class in a decade, following the success of its Explorer-Class vessels. Seven Seas Prestige will be 40% larger than previous Regent ships yet will accommodate only 10% more guests, offering one of the highest space-to-guest and crew-to-guest ratios in the industry. The ship will feature all-balcony suites in 12 categories, including four new suite types such as the Skyview Regent Suite – the largest all-inclusive ultra-luxury cruise suite ever built – and the two-level Skyview and Grand Loft Suites.
Public spaces will showcase refined design and light-filled architecture, including the Starlight Atrium and Galileo’s Bar. The culinary offering will be a focal point, with 11 dining venues spanning new and signature concepts. Guests can look forward to Azure, a new mezze-style Mediterranean restaurant, alongside Regent favourites such as Chartreuse, Prime 7 and Pacific Rim. Another new dining concept will be revealed closer to launch.
