Regent Seven Seas celebrates record-breaking launch day for Prestige

MIAMI — Regent Seven Seas Cruises has set a new booking record with the launch of its latest ship, Seven Seas Prestige, marking the most successful opening day for a new vessel in the line’s history.

Reservations, which opened on June 25, 2025, exceeded the previous record – set by Seven Seas Splendor in 2018 – by 26%.

In addition, the Skyview Regent Suite – available at US$25,000 per night – sold out on six of 13 available sailings in its inaugural season, which is the best performance of a top tier product Regent has ever experienced on an opening day.

Jason Montague, chief luxury officer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, says he’s thrilled – but not surprised – by the overwhelming response.

“We knew that luxury travellers were extremely eager to reserve their suite on this incredible suite. Seven Seas Prestige promises to being a new legacy for the entire ultra-luxury cruise sector, and we cannot wait until she joins the fleet,” he said.

Set for delivery in December 2026, Seven Seas Prestige marks the brand’s first new ship class in a decade. The Fincantieri-built vessel is 40% larger than previous ships yet accommodates just 10% more guests, hosting up to 882 passengers and 630 crew. All-balcony suites span 12 categories, including four new designs like the two-level Skyview Suites and the 8,794 square-foot Skyview Regent Suite, the largest all-inclusive, ultra-luxury cruise ship suite in history. The all-inclusive onboard experience includes unlimited shore excursions, fine wines and spirits, valet laundry, Starlink Wi-Fi, and cuisine across seven specialty restaurants and 11 dining experiences in total.

Seven Seas Prestige’s inaugural season will feature 13 voyages across the Caribbean and Europe, visiting boutique ports like Cartagena and St. Lucia, as well as multiple overnight stays in port. The ship’s maiden voyage departs Dec. 13, 2026, on a 14-night transatlantic journey from Barcelona to Miami, and from there the ship will sail to the Eastern and Western Caribbean with embarkation ports in Miami, Los Angeles and New York.
