Priority booking access opens for Celebrity River Cruises

MIAMI — Priority booking access is now open for 2027 sailings for Celebrity River Cruisesʻ Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker.

The two ships promise open decks, spacious staterooms, top-level dining and Celebrity Cruisesʻ elevated hospitality, all for sailings on the Rhine and Danube. The first two vessels are part of an initial order for 10 ships.

Travellers can now place fully refundable $500 deposits to claim a stateroom on one of the two new ships, following up on news first announced Aug. 19.

“Celebrity River Cruises ships will be the most innovative on the river, with a patent-pending industry-leading design that offers more space to vacation while bringing guests even closer to destinations,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, President, Celebrity Cruises. “With about half of our guests having experienced or intending to take a river cruise, we know guests are going to love sailing Europe’s Rhine and Danube rivers The Celebrity Way on our fleet of elevated, cutting-edge ships.”

Celebrity River Cruisesʻ open decks will offer the most usable outdoor space of any river ship, adds Hodges Bethge, and will remain accessible throughout the entire journey.

Taking inspiration from Celebrity Cruisesʻ hugely popular Magic Carpet – the cantilevered floating platform for dining and more on Edge series ships – both of the two new river cruise vessels will feature Magic Edge, offering the first-ever cantilevered dining pods.

Other highlights on the much-anticipated river cruise ships include an infinity-edge plunge pool and eight restaurants and bars including Celebrity-favourite venues Martini Bar, Sunset Bar and Café Al Bacio.

The shipsʻ stateroom design emphasizes intuitive storage, enhanced configuration, king sized beds in every stateroom and spacious balconies. All passengers can take advantage of complimentary stocked mini bars and destination-inspired amenities. Suite guests also get a dedicated, on-demand butler through ‘Butler Chat,’ complimentary exclusive dining, room service and happy hour experiences, complimentary laundry once each sailing, and priority booking for shore excursions.

The first-ever Skylight Infinite Balcony Suites feature a separate living area and a ceiling window for plenty of natural light. Vista Balcony Suites and Balcony staterooms offer an enhanced design with more usable outdoor space. There are also Infinite Balcony staterooms, and River View staterooms.

Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker will offer 33 seven-night sailings on the Rhine and Danube, with opportunities for multiple ports per day, combined with overnight experiences.

Pre- and post-cruise stays will be available to book starting in early 2026.

Celebrity Cruises Captain’s Club members’ loyalty tiers extend to river vacations. Members can earn 8-18 points per night on river vacations. More details on tier benefits will be shared in 2026.
