Four Seasons Yachts launches with inaugural sailing for Four Seasons I

TORONTO — Four Seasons Yachts inaugural season is underway with today’s launch of Four Seasons I’s maiden voyage in the Mediterranean.

The ship’s 95 residential-style suites, many featuring large terraces and plunge pools, offer space and seclusion, while access to exclusive ports and yacht-only harbours establish a new benchmark for sea travel, says Ben Trodd, CEO, Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd., Joint Owner/Operator of Four Seasons Yachts.

“Today’s luxury traveller values time, trust, and authenticity above all,” says Trodd, CEO, Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd., Joint Owner/Operator of Four Seasons Yachts. “With the confidence our guests place in Four Seasons comes an equally high expectation for excellence.”

This date – March 20, 2026 – is also the 65th anniversary of Four Seasons and the opening of the company’s first hotel on the first day of spring in 1961. That hotel, of course, was the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto, at 415 Jarvis Street.

Four Seasons founder and chairman Isadore Sharp and his wife Rosalie Sharp are the Godparents of Four Seasons I.

“Four Seasons Yachts debuts on the same day that the very first Four Seasons hotel opened, 65 years ago, making this milestone even more meaningful as we celebrate the history of our company, while looking forward to the bright future ahead,”says Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO, Four Seasons. “Four Seasons Yachts is a continuation of the pioneering ambition on which Four Seasons was built, and will reflect the same genuine care, service excellence, and exceptional moments we create for guests on land. We are proud to introduce a new expression of our brand at sea, opening an entirely new horizon for our guests.”

Four Seasons I spans 207 metres (679 feet) and draws inspiration from the legendary superyacht Christina O. The 95 suites are supported by a one-to-one guest-to-staff ratio and all feature indoor-outdoor living. There are no interior cabins. At the very top of the top of the shipʻs categories, the nearly 10,000-square-foot Funnel Suite is positioned at the forward-facing prow, offering sweeping panoramic views. Other options include the nearly 8,000-square foot Loft Suite with its expansive aft-facing terrace.

For its inaugural season, Four Seasons I’s highlights include Saint-Tropez, Bodrum, Hydra and Montenegro, alongside sailings across the Greek Isles and Croatian coast. In its debut year, the yacht will introduce 32 voyages across 52 sailings, to 130 distinct destinations in more than 30 countries and territories throughout the Mediterranean in summer and the Caribbean and Bahamas in winter.

Four Seasons Yachts’ long-term global vision includes additional itineraries and vessels planned in the years ahead.
