Cyber Monday sets new all-time sales record for Azamara

MIAMI — Azamara Cruises is celebrating a major sales milestone after Cyber Monday 2025 produced the strongest booking day in the company’s history.

New bookings rose by about 5% over the line’s previous record, marking a major win for the small-ship operator known for its focus on destination immersion and extended time in port.

The momentum extended beyond a single day with the broader multi-week Black Friday Sale ranking among the top five best booking periods Azamara Cruises has ever recorded.

“Cyber Monday blew past every expectation,” said Dondra Ritzenthaler, Chief Executive Officer of Azamara Cruises. “To see travellers respond at this level, surpassing every projection, tells us that interest in small-ship cruising has never been stronger. Guests continue to seek longer days in port and deeper cultural immersion, and our curated itineraries and exceptional onboard service deliver just that.”

Ritzenthaler credited the line’s travel partners for being instrumental to its success. “With their support, we were able to achieve these incredible results. This record-breaking performance is a true testament to the strength of those partnerships and the growing demand for the Azamara experience.”

The strongest growth came from Alaska sailings, reflecting high anticipation for Azamara Cruises’ return to the region in 2026. Western Mediterranean itineraries also performed well, along with exotic voyages in Australia, Indonesia and Southern Africa, and transatlantic crossings between Europe and the United States.

Across the promotional period, veranda staterooms were the top-selling category, underscoring travellers’ preference for scenic, balcony-equipped accommodations when sailing on smaller ships.
