MIAMI — Costa Cruises has launched ʻCosta Cruisetelling,’ a series of training modules designed to help North American travel advisors discover the cruise line’s Italian heritage, onboard experience and unique positioning for clients.

Priscilla Reyes, head of sales for Costa Cruises North America, says the educational course simplifies learning while equipping agents with the knowledge and confidence to sell Costa to North American travellers.

“The best way to support travel advisors is by providing educational tools that are clear, engaging and comprehensive,” says Reyes. “Over the past year, we’ve developed Costa Cruisetelling to deliver the insights and knowledge advisors need to confidently sell the brand. We’re excited for our partners to explore the course and feel inspired to introduce their clients to Costa.”

Each of the six modules is intended to be completed in under 10 minutes, followed by a quick multiple-choice quiz. Short videos and easy-to-digest content make the lessons entertaining and engaging, says Reyes.

Here’s a look …

. Module 1: “Who is Costa?” — Learn the history of Costa Cruises, the Italian-style difference and the cruise line’s core values.

. Module 2: “Why Costa?” — Learn about the Italian way of life at sea, the onboard experiences (from entertainment to dining) and Costa’s environmental commitment.

. Module 3: “Costa Fleet: The Italy of Lifestyle at Sea” — Discover the structure of the fleet and the differences among Costa’s nine ships.

. Module 4: “Itineraries: Uncover the World with Costa” — Through a video and interactive global map, discover Costa’s itineraries and destinations.

. Module 5: “Sea Destinations: The Wonder Lives at Sea” — Uncover the magic of Costa’s exclusive Sea Destinations that create memorable moments that can only be experienced from on board. An interactive map highlights Sea Destinations around the world.

. Module 6: “Land Experiences: The Wonder Comes Ashore” — Learn about Costa’s shore excursion program and its four categories. A short video and descriptions make it easy to get to know Costa’s Land Experiences.

. Final Module: “Costa Cruisetelling Quiz” — Complete all six modules and conclude with a final quiz based on the Costa Cruisetelling material.

Travel advisors who pass the final quiz will receive a certificate as ʻCosta Certified.’

All advisors who successfully pass Costa Cruisetelling will also receive 10% off a Costa cruise booking to any destination in the world.
