Azamara launches Travel Advisor Council to strengthen trade collaboration

MIAMI — Azamara Cruises has launched a new Travel Advisor Council aimed at strengthening its partnership with the trade and bringing advisor feedback more directly into the cruise line’s strategic planning.

The Miami-based cruise company said the new advisory program is designed to enhance collaboration with top-performing travel advisors while creating stronger alignment across sales, marketing and guest experience initiatives.

The Azamara Cruises Travel Advisor Council brings together a select group of high-performing, forward-thinking advisors from across North America. The council will serve as a sounding board for the company’s leadership team, offering strategic insights, product feedback and frontline perspectives intended to help shape future programs, tools and initiatives.

“This council represents our commitment to listening, learning and growing alongside our travel advisor community,” said Michelle Lardizabal, Chief Sales Officer, N. America, Azamara Cruises. “By formalizing this advisory group, we’re ensuring that advisor voices directly influence our business with the expertise of our valued partners.”

A total of 10 advisors has been selected for the 12-month commitment, chosen by sales managers across the United States and Canada. Council members will test new ideas, refine processes and promote the Azamara brand within the trade. Members must have a minimum of five years of cruise-focused industry experience, be AWA graduates and have sailed on and sold Azamara.
