MISSISSAUGA — Collette has announced that it will be offering the same itineraries planned for Oberammergau 2020 in 2022.

The once-in-a-decade Passion Play, scheduled to take place earlier this year in the Bavarian hamlet of Oberammergau, was postponed until 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the most recent production in 2010, Collette brought over 10,000 guests to Oberammergau, the most of any tour operator. The epic play, which depicts the life and death of Jesus Christ, will feature a total of 102 performances in 2022, all performed by local residents.

“Collette travellers will have many programs to choose from throughout Europe,” says Jaclyn Leibl-Cote, president of Collette. “Each program includes a one- or two-night Passion Play premium category package with reserved accommodations as well as seating.”
