APG Canada appointed as GSA for Peruvian Airlines

MISSISSAUGA, ON — APG Canada has a new GSA partnership with Peruvian Airlines (P9) effective Nov. 1 in addition to its YO IET agreement with the carrier and current GSA agreement in 10 countries.

“As the General Sales Agent of Peruvian Airlines, APG will be providing full sales and marketing services and is fully active in BSP Canada,” said Karl Müller – APG Canada Director.

Peruvian Airlines ranks third in participation in Peru’s aviation market and has been the fastest growing airline in recent years, being recognized as one of the top regional airlines in South America.

The routings offered by Peruvian Airlines will be of direct interest to tour operator/leisure and corporate travel managers – considering active Canadian business interests in the region.

The airline operates an all-Boeing fleet of seven aircraft, including five B737-300, one B737-400 and one B737-500, plus orders for two B737-400 and two B737-500 that will join the fleet in the coming months.

The carrier operates more than 20 daily flights to seven domestic destinations in Cuzco (CUZ), Arequipa (AQP), Tacna (TCQ), Piura (PIU), Iquitos (IQT), Tarapotos (TPP), Pucallpa (PCL) and one international destination in La Paz, Bolivia (LPB).

At this time, no credit cards are accepted by Peruvian, but an announcement will be forthcoming once commission and credit card arrangements have been finalized regarding the Canada market.

Until then, if plated and priced using the YO E-tkt, Visa and MasterCard can be used as a form a payment.
