CALGARY — WestJet and TELUS have teamed up to connect their loyalty programs, giving Canadians more flexibility and value when it comes to earning and redeeming rewards.
As of Oct. 15, 2025, members of WestJet Rewards and TELUS Rewards can link their accounts to earn, transfer and redeem points across both programs. Those who link will also receive automatic WestJet seat selection vouchers and TELUS Roaming Passes, allowing them to travel comfortably and stay connected on the go.
The partnership enables members to earn WestJet points on their TELUS bills, redeem WestJet points toward TELUS services and catalogue items, and convert TELUS Rewards points into WestJet points through the new WestJet Rewards eStore. Members who link their accounts before Nov. 30, 2025, will also receive a free entry into a contest to win an all-inclusive WestJet vacation for two to Mexico.

Both brands have significantly revamped their loyalty programs this year. TELUS introduced a new tier-based system that rewards customers based on the number of TELUS products and services they use, offering exclusive perks and recognition at every level. WestJet also enhanced its 15-year-old rewards program, simplifying how members earn and redeem points for flights, vacation packages and premium travel experiences.
WestJet Rewards members already enjoy the benefits of WestJet Wi-Fi, powered by TELUS, on more than 100 narrowbody aircraft. The airline expects to complete installation of high-speed connectivity across its entire narrowbody fleet by the end of 2025, giving guests the ability to stream, work or stay in touch during their flights.
