Quebec travel advisor wins two tickets to Paris with Air France

TORONTO — A Quebec travel advisor has won two tickets to Paris with Air France.

Sophie Grenier, a travel consultant with Les Voyages Simon Pelletier in Noyan, QC, is the lucky winner in Air France’s contest for its valued Canadian travel advisor partners.

Grenier won a pair of tickets from Canada to Paris on Air France in Economy Class.

The contest launched last month in celebration of Air France’s 75 years of continuous service between Canada and Paris.

The story began on Oct. 2, 1950, when Air France’s first regular direct flight between Paris and Montreal landed at Dorval airfield, marking the beginning of a lasting relationship between Canada and France.

Since that day the airline has continued to grow its presence in Canada, expanding its network from Montreal to include Toronto, Vancouver, Quebec City and Ottawa.

These days Air France operates up to 36 weekly flights between Canada and France during peak seasons.

The Montreal-Paris route, operated up to four times daily in summer, remains one of the airline’s longest-standing and most valued transatlantic connections.

Air France notes that travel agents have played a vital role in helping the airline welcome more than a million passengers between Canada and France each year. “Their expertise and enthusiasm have enabled countless Canadians to explore new destinations in Paris, throughout France, and beyond,” says Air France.
