TORONTO — Porter Airlines has received scheduled international licenses to operate, on a codeshare basis, flights to Turkey, Brazil and Morocco.
The Canadian Transportation Agency has given the green light for all of the license applications.
Porter codeshares with Air Transat, and in November 2023 the two airlines announced a joint venture partnership.
Transat’s Toronto-Istanbul flights launched in December 2025. The airline’s flights to Rio de Janeiro took off earlier this month from Toronto and Montreal, and its Marrakesh flights from Montreal launched in 2024.
