Porter debuts Nassau service from Toronto Pearson

TORONTO — Porter Airlines’ new YYZ-NAS route has taken flight.

Roundtrip service launched this morning from Toronto Pearson to Nassau.

The route is one of many inaugural flights to southern vacation markets with Porter this season, including Mexico, Costa Rica and Cayman Islands. Meanwhile Porter’s U.S. sun destinations for 2025-26 include Florida, Arizona and California.

“Porter is now the better way of getting to The Bahamas. Our distinct approach to service, with genuine, warm hospitality, means that passengers can enter vacation mode long before landing in Nassau.This is the first of multiple routes that we’re launching this season that will bring Canada and The Bahamas closer together,” said Edmond Eldebs, SVP and Chief Commercial Officer, Porter Airlines

Seasonal service to Nassau out of YYZ will increase to daily beginning Dec. 12. Nonstop service from Ottawa begins on Dec. 13, and Montreal on Feb. 5. All flights are operated on Porter’s Embraer E195-E2 fleet.
