WARSAW — LOT Polish Airlines has introduced a new stopover program designed to encourage international passengers to explore Poland en route to their final destination.
The ‘LOT Stopover’ offer allows travellers to extend their layover in Warsaw from 24 hours up to eight days, transforming a typical connection into an immersive cultural experience.
The program applies only to international flights and is available only for roundtrip travel. By selecting the LOT Stopover option during the booking process, travellers can choose a longer stop in Poland and benefit from a series of exclusive perks provided in partnership with the Polish Tourism Organisation and the Warsaw Tourism Organisation.
“The new LOT Stopover service offers travellers much more than just a convenient transfer,” said Filip Biniewicz, Deputy Commercial Director at LOT Polish Airlines. “With a wealth of dedicated benefits, passengers can enrich their journey with new experiences while taking advantage of our extensive flight network. It’s a perfect opportunity to stay in Poland for longer and discover its unique diversity – from the bustling capital to picturesque regions across the country.”
As part of the program, travellers can enjoy:
- A 25% discount on domestic flights within Poland
- Special pricing at select Warsaw restaurants and attractions
- An opportunity to explore one of Europe’s fastest-growing capital cities, combining a UNESCO-listed Old Town with modern architecture, vibrant parks and a dynamic culinary scene
The program caters to both leisure and business travellers and has been integrated into the LOT Polish Airlines booking system. In the system, select a connection with the LOT Stopover service, choose a convenient transfer time (from 24 hours to eight days) and pay for the trip. The LOT Stopover applies to all passengers in the booking, even if it includes more than one person.
