Air Canadaʻs seasonal YUL-EDI flights take off

MONTREAL — Air Canada’s newest international route is now operational.

AC936 took off from Montreal last night and landed in Edinburgh this morning. The seasonal service is available through Sept. 7

“We are very proud to launch service to Edinburgh from Montréal, our latest route strategically added to our extensive transatlantic network,” said Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer and President, Cargo. “This new connection between Canada and Scotland deepens our ties and commitment to the UK market. Our Montreal-Edinburgh flights are designed to connect our customers across North America conveniently to Edinburgh with seamless travel through our Montréal hub.”

Itʻs the latest new Europe route for Air Canada this summer.

The airline inaugurated its Montreal to Porto and Toronto to Prague routes earlier this month, celebrated the launch of its Naples route in May, and marked the return of the Ottawa to London Heathrow route in April.

Air Canadaʻs YUL-EDI flights depart Montreal at 9:40 p.m. Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in Edinburgh at 9:05 a.m. the next day.

On the return, flights depart Edinburgh at 11:15 a.m. Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving in Montreal at 1:35 p.m.
