Air Transat returns to Venice, Barcelona, Basel and Brussels

MONTREAL — Air Transat has resumed service to several top European cities following months of forced suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

BASEL

The airline is now operating its first weekly flight from Montreal to the Franco-Swiss airport of Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (TS296) until the end of October. Flights operate on new generation Airbus A321neoLR aircraft.

Air Transat also offers an extensive program of domestic flights for travellers flying to Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg via Montreal.

BARCELONA

Air Transat has resumed flights between Toronto and Barcelona (TS248), which will be offered twice a week at the height of the season.

Until the end of October, the airline will operate these flights with its new-generation Airbus A321neoLR aircraft.

Air Transat offers a selection of direct routes to Spain from Montreal and Toronto: Montreal-Barcelona (April 13); Montreal-Madrid (April 5); Montreal-Malaga (year-round); and Toronto-Barcelona (May 3).

VENICE

Air Transat is strengthening its program to Italy starting today, May 5, with its first flight to Venice from Montreal (TS406), which will operate twice weekly at the height of the season.

From Toronto, the first weekly direct flight to Venice (TS406) will operate on June 20.

Air Transat offers a selection of direct routes to Italy from Montreal and Toronto: Montreal-Rome (April 8); Montreal-Venice (May 5); Toronto-Lamezia (June 8); Toronto-Rome (April 16); and Toronto-Venice (June 20).

BELGIUM

Also today, Air Transat is relaunching its first flights of the year between Montreal and Brussels (TS154), which will be offered three times a week at the height of the season. Until the end of October, the airline will operate these flights with its new generation Airbus A321neoLR aircraft.
