Air Canada flights from Regina, Saskatoon may be affected by freezing rain

Air Canada has warned on it’s website that flights from Regina and Saskatoon may be cancelled or delayed on December 16th because of foretasted freezing rain in the area.

“Air Canada and Air Canada Express advise that flights to, from or connecting through the airport(s) listed may be delayed or cancelled due to the event described,” advises the website.

Air Canada has revised its ticketing policy for customers booked on affected flights to facilitate changes to bookings. Those customers wishing to make alternate travel arrangements can do so without penalty, space permitting.

As of 10:30 am EST, neither airport are showing noteworthy delays or cancellations.

CBC is reporting that there is a 60% of flurries or freezing drizzle for Regina, and Saskatoon a 60% of flurries.
