Demand for international routes has been “surprisingly strong” given the circumstances, says Air Canada, but if Canada doesn’t reciprocate global entry privileges soon, we could see more ...
MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations is making it easier for travel agents to book flight and hotel packages for their clients with a brand new, user-friendly shopping tool.
Called ‘ePackages’, the tool allows agents to search for flight and hotel options across Air Canada’s extensive route network including Canada, the United States and Europe. It also provides agents with cabin upgrade and itinerary options.
The tool is already integrated into popular shopping platforms, says Nino Montagnese, Managing Director at Air Canada Vacations.
“At Air Canada Vacations our objective has always been and will continue to be to provide our travel partners with new tools and technology advancements that make supporting our mutual customers that much easier,” he adds.
To celebrate the launch of ePackages, Air Canada Vacations is offering one free checked bag per person on all ePackage bookings.
Plus, travel agents will earn their regular package commission amount on the land portion of the booking, and will also receive 300 ACV&ME points per room on ePackage bookings.
ePackages is easily accessible to agents in SIREV, Sabre Vacations and Galileo Vacations under the tour operator code VAE.
