Disneyland’s Avengers Campus set to open June 4

ANAHEIM — Avengers Campus, an entirely new land dedicated to the next generation of Super Heroes, is set to open June 4 at Disneyland Resort inside Disney California Adventure Park.

Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure officially reopen to the public on April 30, 2021, with limited capacity.

Although Disneyland is currently only open to California residents, and the Canada-U.S. border remains closed, the opening of Avengers Campus will be good news for any agent who sells Disneyland or has theme park fans for clients.

“We are so excited to soon welcome our guests to Avengers Campus, our first land dedicated to  Super Heroes,” said Ken Potrock, President, Disneyland Resort. “Here, our cast members will  unite to help guests of all ages find their super powers and create special memories.”

A new attraction, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, takes visitors on an interactive escapade where they can sling webs with Spider-Man.

The heart of the land is Avengers Headquarters, an iconic building where visitors can catch  a glimpse of the Avengers springing into action ready to save the day. Also on hand: Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy,  Black Panther and Thor. Some are making their first appearances at the park.

Another attraction, the towering citadel of Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission:  BREAKOUT!, is a fan-favourite that opened in Disney California Adventure in 2017.

There’s also Ancient Sanctum, where visitors can learn discover ancient, magical artifacts with Doctor Strange.

For provisions to fuel the day, there’s Pym Test Kitchen, Shawarma Palace and Terran Treats. And for take-homes, toys and more, there’s the WEB Suppliers store, and the Campus Supply Pod.

Information about health and safety measures, including mandatory temperature screenings and required face  coverings for guests ages 2 and older, can be found at Disneyland.com/update.
