TORONTO — Tourism Ireland has appointed Ernie Balint as its new Trade Promotions and CRM Executive in Canada.

Balint, who previously served as Senior Sales Executive at G Adventures, will be tasked with planning and implementing a targeted program of trade marketing activities with key Canadian travel partners, tour operators and airlines. He will also manage digital communications, which is key to the development of new recovery strategies to restart tourism from Canada to Ireland.

On his new role, Sandra Moffatt, Manager, Canada, said: “We are delighted to have Ernie join the Tourism Ireland Team. As an experienced travel industry professional, his passion for travel and industry knowledge will bring a wealth of experience to the role.”
