Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line getting ready to set sail on July 2

Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line to resume operations in December

WEST PALM BEACH — Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line has once again extended its temporary suspension to Dec. 18, 2020.

The line, which sails to Grand Bahama Island, will make its return onboard the Grand Classica instead of the Grand Celebration. Grand Classica, says CEO Oneil Khosa, features larger deck space and nearly 100 fewer staterooms.

“The guest-to-space ration onboard the Grand Classica is one of the highest in its class and rivals many of our contemporary peers,” he says. “This change, coupled with a capped capacity of 60%, will further ensure that our guests and crew members can easily maintain required social distancing onboard.”

Since the outbreak of COIVD-19, Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line has remained one of the few cruise lines to report no cases of the virus onboard its ships. Khosa says the company has followed all required guidelines, including adhering to strict requirements for its onboard crew members and installing safety protocols across its fleet. He adds the line will continue to work closely with the CDC, the World Health Organization and the Bahamian government leading up to its return to the island.

“The past few months have been an incredible challenge for the cruise industry at large, and we’re thrilled to welcome our guests aboard for what we know is a much-needed getaway to Grand Bahama Island,” adds Khosa. “We appreciate the unwavering support and patience of our partners and crew during this challenging time and we look forward to welcoming guests back onboard soon.”
