British Airways extends NDC with TPConnects

Flight service to operate as normal despite strike, says British Airways

LONDON — Despite the looming threat of a cabin crew strike next week, British Airways has confirmed that most of its flights will not be disrupted.

BA’s ‘mixed fleet’ crew plans to hold a 48-hour strike on Jan. 10 and 11 after rejecting a pay offer from the airline. But according to BA, customers will still be able to fly to their destinations on both days, with some time changes for certain flights departing from London’s Heathrow airport, reports Reuters.

The ‘mixed fleet’ Unite crew represents 15% of BA’s cabin crew, and is said to have poorer terms and conditions than some longer-serving staff.
