THE VALLEY, ANGUILLA — Anguilla has shattered its pre-pandemic tourism benchmarks, recording its highest annual visitor arrivals in 33 years and signalling sustained strength across both stay-over and day-trip segments.
The Anguilla Tourist Board reports that total visitor arrivals reached 229,734 in 2025, an 11.2% increase over 2024 and 38.1% above 2019 levels, when the destination welcomed 166,351 visitors.
Growth was recorded across all key segments. Tourist arrivals rose from 95,375 in 2019 to 114,965 in 2025, a 20.5% increase. Excursionist arrivals surged from 70,976 to 114,769, up 61.7%. Excursionists accounted for approximately 69% of the net growth between 2019 and 2025, underscoring the strength of regional access and day-trip demand alongside solid stay-over performance.
Performance was especially strong during the peak winter season and in Q4. December was the largest month on record, with 28,855 total arrivals. January (23,548), February (23,086), March (22,625) and July (22,561) also ranked among the top-performing months of 2025.
