Santa Monica Travel & Tourism taps Pulse Travel Marketing

TORONTO — Santa Monica Travel & Tourism (SMTT) has appointed Pulse Travel Marketing as its new in-market representative.

Sana Keller, Managing Partner and Public Relations Director at Pulse Travel Marketing, says the agency will work with the Santa Monica Travel & Tourism team to increase brand awareness and ensure that this prime Southern California destination is prominently positioned with the travel trade, and key distribution media channels across Canada.

Canada is a vital market for Santa Monica tourism and is in the top three countries for international visitors to our community, says Misti Kerns, President and CEO of Santa Monica Travel & Tourism.

“We are excited to partner with Pulse Travel Marketing as we elevate Santa Monica’s presence in Canada while highlighting the unique beach lifestyle experiences we offer. We are confident Pulse will leverage their knowledge and understanding of the Canadian travel trade and media to spotlight all that Santa Monica has to offer for a southern California visit. Our community is ready to warmly welcome Canadian visitors for a safe and responsible traveling experience with public health protocols in place,” says Kerns.

Canada has always been a top producing market for Santa Monica, says Keller. “But many Canadians may not be aware that the city is home to the state’s widest beaches and a bike path that traverses 35 kilometres of Southern California coastline, unique shopping experiences on Third Street Promenade, Main Street’s excitement, great walkable neighbourhoods and the fact that Santa Monica is synonymous with happiness, sunshine and inclusivity.”

Annika Klint, Travel Trade and Marketing Account Director and Partner at Pulse Travel Marketing adds: “We need to keep in mind that Canadians are a very savvy market that are already starting to take to the skies again. The market is primed, and our team can’t wait to begin our work with the travel trade across Canada.”
