Any time a country or region imposes any sort of visa stipulation - even if it’s a waiver - the travel industry sighs a collective groan, knowing the obstacles and headaches to come.
TORONTO — WheelsUpNetwork has launched a new campaign for travel agents that includes fun promotions, fams, webinars, special deals and weekly contests.
According to Sales Director Laura Di Nardo, the ‘Wake Up With WheelsUpNetwork’ campaign was designed to remind travel professionals about agent-focused content that’s refreshed daily on wheelsupnetwork.com.
“There’s always something new on our website, whether it’s a special deal for agents, a new fam to a fantastic destination, or a fun new contest where agents can win great prizes,” she said. “With this new campaign, we’re getting the word out that WheelsUpNetwork should be your one-stop shop for everything agent-related.”
New contests will be released every week until the end of April during the campaign, with prizes ranging from commemorative mugs to “bigger items to be announced in the coming weeks,” said DiNardo.
Agents are also encouraged to take the ‘5 Words or Less Challenge’, in which they must describe their favourite adventures in five words or less for a chance to win prizes.
The WheelsUp team will be joining in on the fun each week via social media – follow them on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn to catch them in action.

New webinars are launched each week to allow Canadian agents to better sell specific destinations and resorts. Every participant who successfully completes a webinar will win a prize.
Up next is the ‘Insider’s Guide on Short Breaks to Ireland’ on Feb. 27. Upon completion, agents will win a Waterford Crystal vase and a ‘Hidden Ireland’ coffee table book.
On March 5, WheelsUpNetwork will be hosting its very own webinar (open to both Canada- and U.S.-based agents), during which Di Nardo will teach agents about how best to use their services, how to navigate the newly revamped website and answer all their questions. Prizes include two ‘Wake Up with Wheels Up’ mugs and a $50 Visa Gift Card.
Launching on March 13 is the ‘Be Live Hotels Adults’ webinar, after which participants can win an all-inclusive, three-night stay for two at Be Live Collection Punta Cana Adults Only resort.
