LOS ANGELES — A super modern, ultra-luxe Viceroy hotel is coming to Los Cabos this year, marking Viceroy Hotel Group’s second property in Mexico.

Scheduled to open in the spring, Viceroy Los Cabos, formerly the Hotel Mar Adentro, is Viceroy Hotel Group’s 14th property and will debut as a member of The Viceroy Icon Collection. The hotel is also the brand’s first collaboration with Rodina Group, which acquired the hotel in December 2017.

Upon opening, what guests will notice first is the hotel’s sleek lines and minimal design, a departure from the warm and colourful look typical of other Caribbean properties. Considered an architectural achievement, the beachfront property is located in San José del Cabo on the outer rim of Baja California Sur and boasts 194 rooms, suites and villas plus 50 residences.
