TravelOnly teams with Intrepid Group, hires PR firm for ongoing campaign

TORONTO — TravelOnly has partnered with the Intrepid Group, giving its 600-plus home-based agents access to more than 1,500 exclusive adventure travel itineraries. The trips work well both for individual bookings and groups bookings including family reunions, honeymoons, corporate meetings, incentives and ship charters, said Greg Luciani, president and CEO of TravelOnly.

Adventure travel as a category has grown by 60% every year since 2009, notes Christian Wolters, deputy general manager of the Intrepid Group, North America.

TravelOnly has also hired recently hired Toronto-based PR firm The Siren Group Inc. to launch an ongoing PR and marketing campaign.  “The objectives are to generate buzz and widespread trade, consumer and media awareness throughout the year with newsworthy events and content,” says TravelOnly.

The brand’s messaging will include its Canadian and family-run roots spanning 40 years and highlight its service, product and exclusive offers.  The campaign includes collateral materials and POP produced in-house, a re-branded website and ongoing communications with its network of travel associates.
