Sunwing to increase service between Western Canada and Puerto Plata this winter

TORONTO — This winter season, Sunwing will have more flights flying out of Western Canada to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic to the delight of winter-weary Canadians.

Vacationers from Regina can take advantage of a Tuesday service that will operate between Dec. 13, 2016 and March 28, 2017 inclusive. Flights from Saskatoon are scheduled to operate on Thursdays between Dec. 15 and March 30 inclusive, while Calgary flight service will run on Fridays from Dec. 23 to March 31 inclusive.

With this increased scheduling, Sunwing will be offering flights to Puerto Plata from 11 different gateways coast to coast this winter.

“The Dominican Republic is consistently one of our most popular destinations and we are delighted to be able to provide more choice to our customers in Western Canada that will enable them to discover it for themselves this coming season,” said Andrew Dawson, President of Tour Operations.
