MONTEGO BAY — Beaches Resorts is adding Rosita, the popular bilingual character from Sesame Street, as the newest walkaround for the properties, joining the existing cast of characters this fall at Beaches Negril, Beaches Ocho Rios and Beaches Turks & Caicos.

Rosita’s arrival is part of Beaches Resorts’ exclusive Caribbean Adventure with Sesame Street.

The cast of walkaround characters at the family-friendly resorts already includes Elmo, Cookie Monster, Super Grover, Zoe, Bert and Ernie, Abby Cadabby, The Count, Oscar the Grouch, Big Bird, Julia, and now, Rosita. Rosita brings a new activity, ‘Soccer Time with Rosita’, so kids of all ages can play her favourite game of fútbol while learning a bit of Spanish along the way.

Rosita, along with our new Spanish language-learning activity, will make fun family vacations at Beaches even more inclusive.”

As part of the 50th anniversary festivities on resort, there will be opportunities for guests of all ages to join in the celebration with an enhanced weekly Carnival parade, including Rosita and her Sesame Street friends and a weekly Sesame Street Birthday Party.

‘Soccer Time with Rosita’ joins a list of activities already available at the resorts, including Baking with Cookie Monster, Magical Treasure Hunts with Abby Cadabby and Amazing Art with Julia and more. Rounding out the on-resort experiences are: Night Night Sleep Tight, a private bedtime tuck-in and story time with a favorite furry friend; weekly character breakfasts; all-access photo shoots featuring all of the Sesame gang; and private birthday parties, all of which are available for an additional fee.
