There’s a January thaw on the way for much of Canada but forecasters say 2018’s colder-than-normal winter temperatures will be back by the middle of February and continue into early March.
MIAMI — Crystal Bach, the first of four Rhine Class ships set to sail the rivers of Europe for Crystal River Cruises, was delivered to Crystal by MV WERFTEN during an official handover ceremony in Wismar, Germany.
Sailing itineraries between Amsterdam and Frankfurt, and Amsterdam and Basel, Crystal Bach will travel along the Rhine and Moselle rivers.
“It is a thrill to welcome Crystal Bach to the family, as she is one of the most anticipated vessels to embark on Europe’s rivers in years,” said Crystal CEO and President, Edie Rodriguez. “Her design, abundant space and standard of amenities and luxury are groundbreaking in and of themselves, then, combined with the acclaimed Crystal brand of service and attention to detail, create an unprecedented experience in the river cruising industry.”
Crystal’s Rhine Class river ships are the river cruising industry’s first and only all-balcony, all-suite vessels in Europe, with every category of accommodation perched above the waterline, notes Rodriguez.
All four river ships will offer Crystal’s butler service in every room category, king-sized beds, Panoramic Balcony-Windows, walk-in closets and dual vanity in the bathrooms in most categories, ETRO robes and slippers, wall-mounted flat-screen HD TVs, and Nespresso machines. Additional features include Crystal’s farm-to-table, Michelin-inspired cuisine in multiple, open-seating eateries including the Waterside Restaurant, namesake Bistro cafés and the exclusive Vintage Room; and the Palm Court.
