It’s one thing to know that travel agent associations are lobbying the government on agents’ behalf. It’s another to actually hear it and see it in action.
TORONTO — The Travel Agent Next Door chartered its own ship from Katrina Line for a cruise of the Croatian coast for its Top Performers trip.
Fourteen agents made the trip, along with their guests, travelling with The Travel Agent Next Door Founder, Flemming Friisdahl and Rhonda Stanley, VP, Talent Development.
Suppliers who joined the group included Lisa Connell from Royal Caribbean International, Stephanie Bishop from Globus family of brands, Frank DeMarinis from TravelBrands, Sandra Gardiner from AmaWaterways and Brenda Yeomans from Celebrity Cruises.
The group was able to swim every day while visiting the picturesque towns and villages along the beautiful Croatian coast from Split to Dubrovnik, says TTAND.
In order to qualify for the trip, agents needed to reach a certain amount of paid commission within a 12 month period.
