We took a two-hour camel ride into the Sahara to stay overnight in traditional canvas tents. We arrived as the sun was starting to set and we climbed to the top of a 90-metre dune to watch the sunset. Absolutely breathtaking.
Starting in Munich, the city’s main market is also its oldest: the Marienplatz, where ornaments for the tree and gifts are easily found, and locals gather regularly during the day to enjoy sausage, sauerkraut, glühwein and sweets.
