TORONTO — After a two-month closure the D.R.’s Memories Splash Resort will re-open on Nov. 16 as two resorts: Grand Memories Punta Cana and Grand Memories Splash, with renovated rooms and new amenities.

Grand Memories Punta Cana will cater to both couples and families. Dining options include Italian à la carte, as well as fresh seafood at ‘Under the Sea’. Grand Memories Punta Cana is also home to one of the Caribbean’s largest on-site water parks.

Meanwhile guests of Grand Memories Splash will have the opportunity to upgrade to Diamond Club with its anticipatory service, exclusive à la carte restaurants, bar areas, and dedicated room locations.

Grand Memories Splash is located closest to the waterpark and offers spacious family-friendly accommodations, including rooms with bunk beds.

Antonio Herrera, Senior Director Business Development Hotels & Resorts, Blue Diamond Resorts, says the company is excited about the repositioning of Memories Splash. “This is an excellent opportunity to expand the Grand Memories brand to the Dominican Republic and to elevate this award-winning property’s all-inclusive experience.”

Both Grand Memories Punta Cana and Grand Memories Splash are located a short walk away from Bavaro Beach.

Guests of Grand Memories Punta Cana and Grand Memories Splash also get all-inclusive access to luxurious amenities at neighbouring resort, Royalton Punta Cana, including a Fitness Center, Royalton Fit classes and access to restaurants and bars including Grazie Italian Trattoria, Score Sports Bar & Lounge, XS Disco Bar, Sands Beach Bar and Martini Mix.
