We are hiring for two related and possibly overlapping positions. The responsibilities and qualifications below cover both roles, and we will define each position based on identifying the right candidates.
We are the global head office of a network of travel agencies. We provide support, services, tools and programs to our agencies to help them run more successful businesses.
Ideal candidates for these roles have worked in a corporate travel agency, either as an agent, account manager, or a related position. Communication and people skills are key attributes, along with a strong understanding of the industry.
Responsibilities and Duties
The roles cover a variety of areas:
Managing the relationships with air, car and hotel suppliers and other travel-related vendors, including promoting their services to the agencies and analyzing usage reports.
Supporting agencies in their on-stream process to learn the UNIGLOBE programs, tools and services
Managing ongoing relationships with agency owners and managers
Coordinate agencies participating in multi-country corporate account bids
Assist in writing/preparing corporate sales proposals
Manage the centralized corporate account CRM, and promote its usage amongst the agencies.
Note: the list above includes 2 roles. One person will not be doing all of these functions.
5+ years experience in a corporate travel agency OR as a travel manager for a company
Eager to serve people and understand the needs of business travellers
Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
Proficiency in Word and Excel
Experience using one or more GDS
Additional languages (esp Spanish)
Experience in training others
Proficiency in PowerPoint
Experience using a CRM
