Financial Analyst – Royal Scenic

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team. The travel industry is exciting, fast-paced and rewarding. The right candidate has the following skills:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administration, auditing and reconciliation of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Maintenance of cost and revenue booking in high volume environment
  • Full charge fixed assets management, bank reconciliation, bad debt provision and month end closing
  • Creating, analyzing and updating balance sheets, income statements, profit and loss statements, A/R and A/P aging reports, and other financial reports
  • Managing collections process, report updates and calls
  • Maintaining records as required by management
  • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports to management
  • Conducting accounting research as need and recognize potential problems
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 + years office experience in the Accounting Department
  • Accounting Degree or Bachelor’s Degree, majoring in Accounting
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to create and analyze financial reports
  • Excellent computer skills including Advance Level Excel and ERP
  • Experience in Trams or Travel accounting software an asset
  • Experience in the travel industry and knowledge of GDS a plus
