Air Support Agent with Kognitiv

Role: Air (Support) Agent
Location: Las Vegas, USA OR Mississauga, Canada

PLEASE NOTE: The work schedule for this role is specifically: Tuesday – Saturday (off days: Sunday and Monday)

About the role:

In this role you will build air itineraries, pricing options via the company’s proprietary booking platform, manage online web bookings which includes quality assurance and support, monitor queues and multiple inboxes.

You will work directly with one of our premium brand partner’s agents and their customers ensuring optimal customer satisfaction. You will assist our partner’s team to book and confirm flight reservations, customer requests, and manage all schedule changes submitted by the airlines ensuring there is no disruption to the client’s itinerary ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

You will also assist in rolling out best practices to the team to optimize use of an agent desktop, provide insight to search filters and best flight routes. You will maintain up to date knowledge of company’s airline contracts and policies with preferred suppliers to ensure best utilization opportunities.

We are looking for a team member who is used to working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys multi-tasking without lowering service standards. You will be as passionate about customer service and assist our customers when issues arise with their travel arrangements. You know how to prioritize your work and how to utilise your phenomenal communication skills (both written and spoken)

Who Are You?

• Experienced Travel Consultant with advanced Galileo and/or Amadeus skills
• Ability to handle re-issuing ARC documents through Amadeus
• Ability to refund, void and or cancel tickets effectively with little monetary impact
• Issue tickets and invoices
• Ability to handle problem files and provide best solution for the customer
• Knowledge of fare classes, pricing and accounting associated with scheduled airline flights.
• 2-3 years of Travel Industry experience
• Completion of an IATA Amadeus Certificate is an advantage.
• TICO certified (Desirable but not mandatory)
• You will need to be fluent in English to perform this role (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of GDS: specifically – Apollo / Amadeus / Galileo
