MISSISSAUGA — Michael Sette, a former sales manager at Sears Travel, has joined the ranks at TravelBrands as a new Business Development Manager in Ontario.

In his new role Sette will oversee the company’s partnerships in both the Eastern Ontario and Greater Toronto Area (GTA) regions.

According to Shannon Smith, Director of Sales for Ontario, the company is “thrilled” to have Sette join the TravelBrands sales team. “Michael has the combined knowledge of sales development, local marketing, training and customer service,” she said. “We believe Michael’s proven track record of success makes him the natural fit to help develop the business with our wonderful retail partners in his assigned Ontario market.”

Starting his career as a volunteer at Sears Travel, Sette was eventually hired full-time and worked his way up to Travel Sales Manager, where he managed three different branches over the course of 14 years.
