Summer in Fort Lauderdale includes VIP offers and 2-for-1 deals

Transat highlights South and Cruise packages this summer season

MONTREAL — Fresh off its strong showing at the Skytrax World Airline Awards earlier this month, Transat is reminding travellers that now is the time to book hassle-free summer vacations. The company offers a wide range of all-inclusive Sun packages and all-in-one cruise packages perfect for families, couples, groups and solo travellers.

According to Geneviève LeBrun, Vice-President of Marketing at Transat Tours Canada, Transat’s Sun program comprises all-inclusive packages to 17 South destinations from Montreal, 12 from Toronto, four from Calgary and three from Vancouver and Edmonton. These packages come with a vast selection of resorts grouped under five collections: Luxury, Distinction, Family, Solo and Sun Savvy.

And if clients prefer adventures at sea, LeBrun suggests one of Transat’s cruise packages. “Our cruise packages are perfect for those looking for a different experience and who want to discover several destinations in one trip. In short, with us, all travellers will find the vacation that caters to their desires,” she said.

Cruise packages include roundtrip flight with Air Transat, all transfers, the cruise and all taxes. There are about 10 itineraries in the Western, Eastern and Southern Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Havana.

In addition, with Air Transat’s Flight Protection, travellers are sure to reach their destination in the event of a flight delay. They can also extend their trip, at no extra cost, by moving up their departure date up to 14 days before their cruise or by postponing their return to Canada up to 14 days after their journey at sea.

Florida is also top of mind this summer, with Air Transat’s year-round direct flights to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale from Montreal and Toronto. Budget-friendly accommodations are available with Florida Holiday Homes in Kissimmee and south Orlando, featuring two to six bedrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, washer & dryer and a private pool. These homes are part of packages that include roundtrip flight with Air Transat, a seven-night stay and car rental.

Families who prefer to stay at a hotel will have plenty of choices, as Transat has recently added about 30 new properties to its roster in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, St. Petersburg, Orlando, Kissimmee and Tampa.
