SANTA MONICA — Travel agents can up their status with Tourism New Zealand’s updated ‘100% Pure New Zealand Specialist Program’.
Available for free and online, the program allows agents selling New Zealand to grow their sales through online training modules, webinars and informative videos. In addition, the newly tiered program rewards long-term specialists with incentives such as fam opportunities, direct referrals, merchandise and access to in-market events.
The status tiers are categorized and achieved by:
- Gold: Completing 10 online modules, attending one training session and visiting New Zealand
- Silver: Completing 10 online modules and attending one training session
- Bronze: Completing 10 online modules
Status is maintained through regular engagement with both the online modules and training sessions, via a webinar or in-country event. Agents will now also be listed on newzealand.com, preferentially by tier.
Additional changes include a more user-friendly interface and a personal dashboard called Totara, which helps agents track progress with online accounts.
