Toronto, Calgary & Ottawa are getting new sun routes with ACV

TORONTO — Here comes the sun, Canada! Air Canada Vacations has announced that it will launch four new Sun routes this winter season: Toronto-Cartagena, Calgary-Huatulco, Calgary-Los Cabos, and Ottawa-Puerto Plata.

The Toronto-Cartagena service kicks off on Jan. 8, 2018 and will be operated by Air Canada Rouge. Calgary-Huatulco will start Nov. 6, 2017, also on Rouge, while Calgary-Los Cabos will begin Oct. 29, 2017 onboard Air Canada. Ottawa-Puerto Plata, meanwhile, will launch Dec. 20, 2017, also onboard Air Canada.

“Our Sun product continues to expand rapidly,” said Nino Montagnese, Managing Director, Air Canada Vacations. “Being part of the Air Canada family, we are able to align our vacation packages with their expansive flight network. This allows us to offer unmatched service from top Canadian hubs including Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Another part of our growth strategy is to provide even more access and lift out of other strategic hubs including Calgary and Ottawa. This will provide travellers with more flexible options to Huatulco, Los Cabos and Puerto Plata – three of ACV’s most popular Sun destinations.”

All four seasonal routes are now available to book.
