Sunwing expands Victoria service with 3 new Pacific Mexico destinations

TORONTO — Sunwing passengers flying out of Victoria, B.C. will have more options to the sun this winter with new flights to Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos and Huatulco.

Weekly Saturday departures begin Dec. 22, 2018 and run until March 30, 2019 to Puerto Vallarta. Monday flights to Los Cabos start Nov. 5, 2018 and continue through April 22, 2019. And weekly service on Tuesdays to Huatulco runs Nov. 6, 2018 through April 16, 2019.

“Enabling our customers to save time and money by departing from their local airport is very important to us and we are delighted to be returning to Victoria again this winter and to be able to increase our vacation options to include three of our most popular destinations for the first time,” said Sunwing’s President of Tour Operations, Andrew Dawson.

Resorts include Riu Palace Pacifico  in Puerto Vallarta, with rooms to sleep five or more and numerous included activities such as catamaran sailing and boogie boarding. The top-rated family resort also benefits from a unique location that provides guests seasonal opportunities for whale watching.

Meanwhile the recently renovated Riu Santa Fe in Los Cabos now features a Splash Water World water park, and boasts views of Los Cabos’ famed Cabo San Lucas Arch from its panoramic infinity pool and oceanview suites. The resort also offers a daily kids’ club, reservation-free dining across a host of specialty restaurants, themed pool parties and evening entertainment and more.

In Huatulco, vacationers can opt for the family-friendly Las Brisas Huatulco with private beach areas, four spools and included activities like volleyball and soccer. The resort is also a top choice for snorkellers with its crystal-clear, aquarium-like waters that can be accessed directly from the beach.
