Saskatchewan agency owner accused of fraud after 250 complaints

KINDERSLEY, Sask. — The owner and manager of a Saskatchewan travel agency has been charged with fraud.

RCMP say they charged a 44-year-old woman after receiving more than 250 complaints about T & T Travel in Kindersley, Sask.

The charges come after a 16-month investigation.

In January 2016, a voicemail for the company said the business was no longer operating.

A Facebook group called “Travelers Taken by T & T” describes itself as people who were not able to fulfill their travel plans because of the agency’s closure.

The woman is to appear in Kindersley provincial court on July 4.
