[PEOPLE] Doreen Lynch is ACTA’s new Director of Membership

TORONTO — The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) has appointed Doreen Lynch as its new Director of Membership.

Lynch will lead ACTA’s team of Membership Managers across Canada while working out of the National office as part of ACTA’s Senior Management team. She will begin her new role on June 5.

“ACTA looks forward to welcoming Doreen to the position of Director of Membership. Doreen brings a wealth of experience to ACTA with over 30 years serving both the Travel Agency and Supplier channels, making it a natural transition into her new role,” said Wendy Paradis, President of ACTA.

In her new position, Lynch will be accountable for growing the membership base of the organization in all membership categories, membership benefit program usage and servicing member needs on a national level, with a focus on key membership accounts.

Prior to joining ACTA, she worked for Totalstay/Jac Travel as Sales Manager, Canada, and also served as Vice President, Thomas Cook affiliate network, and Executive Vice President Advantage Travel and Cruise Centers.
